Reiki is universal life force energy.
Across different cultures and traditions it's been called prana, chi, life force, collective energy, and many other names.It is the art of manipulating and channeling energy through the physical, mental, and emotional bodies using the hands, inducing a connective state that allows us to do a multitude of things for the client: clearing energetic blockages, addressing underlying energetic sources that result in physical sensations, uncovering repressed or stagnant energy, performing regressions, and addressing events in the past or even in past lives.The needs of the individual are unique, and you may not know exactly what you need until you uncover it in a session. Energy moves through us, connects us, and influences our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual experience.Spiritual hygiene is important, and it affects everything that we do, just like the wind.Reiki can be used for a lot more than relaxation, though it is fantastic for that as well! The power of touch is potent and, in and of itself, is important for mental health.Our experiences don't just disappear because they're over. We carry things with us. Trauma, emotions, beliefs, habits, relationships, and experiences can leave patterns that continue affecting the way we think, feel, behave, and experience our lives long after they began.As a Reiki practitioner, I channel energy intentionally toward the places that need it.That might mean working with the physical body, chakras, nervous system, subconscious, emotional blockages, past experiences, or patterns that have followed you for years.
Sometimes we're working with several of those things at once.Every person responds differently.
Reiki can be subtle. It can also be profound. What matters is what's brought to your experience as a result.You don't have to rely on someone else to receive Reiki.
A Reiki Attunement opens and calibrates your energetic channels so that you can work with Reiki directly. Once attuned, you can channel Reiki for yourself and, if you choose, for other people.The attunement amplifies your existing connection. What you do with it continues to grow with you.Your relationship with Reiki, the way you experience it, and the way you eventually use it become your own.In Person Sessions offered for Locals.
